By creating an account, logging in, or using the RunXIt platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform.
You also acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
RunXIt is a technology platform and marketplace that connects users who need errands completed with individuals willing to complete them. It is important that you understand the nature of our platform:
RunXIt facilitates connections between users but does not control, direct, or supervise the manner in which errands are performed. RunXIt is not responsible for the acts or omissions of runners or requesters.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using RunXIt, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
Runners are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of RunXIt. Runners are solely responsible for:
RunXIt does not direct or control how runners perform errands. RunXIt does not guarantee any minimum earnings, and runners are free to accept or decline any errand at any time.
You may not use RunXIt to engage in any of the following:
RunXIt reserves the right to investigate any suspected fraud and to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:
You may not use RunXIt to request or perform errands involving any of the following:
RunXIt reserves the right to remove any errand that violates these prohibitions and to take action against users who post or accept such errands.
You may not use RunXIt to identify, solicit, recruit, or conduct transactions with other users outside of the platform after connecting through RunXIt.
Attempting to avoid platform fees by taking transactions off-platform is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
RunXIt facilitates payments between users through the platform. When a requester posts an errand, funds are held securely until the errand is completed and approved. Requester pricing may include the errand amount plus applicable RunXIt fees, processing fees, taxes, or other charges shown before payment.
Completion Approval Window: After a runner submits completion evidence, the requester has 24 hours to review and either approve or dispute the completion. If the requester does not approve or dispute within this review window, RunXIt may, at its discretion and according to platform policy, approve the completion and release payment to the runner. This protects runners from indefinite payment delays when requesters are unresponsive. RunXIt may provide reminders or notices regarding pending completion review where supported, but failure to receive or view such notifications does not extend the review window. Auto-approval does not apply if there is an active dispute, admin hold, safety concern, or other exceptional circumstance requiring manual review.
Runner Offer vs Total Due: Requesters choose a posted runner offer. The posted runner offer is the amount offered for the task. The total amount charged to the requester may be higher than the posted runner offer because RunXIt service fees, platform fees, payment processing fees, taxes, or other applicable fees may be added.
Runner Receives Full Posted Offer (Current Model): For tasks created under the current pricing model, runners are expected to receive the full posted runner offer, subject to platform payout rules. Final payout may still be affected by refunds, cancellations, disputes, reversals, chargebacks, fraud review, account restrictions, or other adjustments allowed by these Terms.
Fees Shown Separately: RunXIt may display the posted runner offer, RunXIt service fee, payment processing fee, estimated runner earnings, and total due as separate line items. Pricing displays are intended to improve transparency.
Historical Tasks: Tasks created under earlier pricing models may follow the pricing, fee, and payout rules in effect when the task was created or accepted. RunXIt is not required to recalculate historical tasks under newer pricing models.
Stripe Settlement and Payout Timing: After a requester approves completion, RunXIt may begin the runner payout process. In some cases, the requester's payment may be confirmed by Stripe but not yet available for transfer. In that case, the errand may be marked approved while the runner payout remains pending Stripe settlement. The requester will not be charged again for the same approved errand solely because payout is awaiting settlement. Funds may remain held until Stripe makes the payment balance available for transfer.
Runner payouts are handled through Stripe Express where available. After requester approval, eligible runner earnings may be sent to the runner's Stripe Express account. RunXIt does not guarantee instant availability in the runner's bank account. Bank payout timing is controlled by Stripe, payout method, eligibility, and the runner's financial institution. Runners must complete required Stripe onboarding and verification to receive payouts.
If a runner has not completed Stripe Express setup, or if a payout cannot be completed automatically, the earning may be marked as a Pending Runner Payout. Pending Runner Payouts are completed runner earnings awaiting Stripe Express setup, Stripe platform balance settlement, or additional verification. Pending Runner Payouts are not the same as an immediately available in-app wallet balance.
RunXIt may display Total Earned, Earnings History, Pending Runner Payouts, and Paid/Sent to Stripe Express for transparency. These records are accounting/history records and do not necessarily mean funds are instantly available in a runner's bank account.
Tips, when given, go entirely to the runner. RunXIt may update fees for future transactions, except where a specific promotional or Founding Runner rate is expressly promised in writing. Fee changes should not retroactively alter completed transactions unless required by law or needed to correct an obvious billing/accounting error.
Refunds: Available unused requester funds can be refunded to the original payment method when eligible. Approved refunds return to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days depending on Stripe, your bank, or card issuer. Funds reserved for active errands are not available for refund until released, cancelled, or otherwise resolved.
RunXIt may introduce or modify cancellation fees for future transactions. Any applicable cancellation fee will be disclosed before it is charged, where required by law.
Pricing Guidance: RunXIt may display recommended offers or pricing guidance to help requesters choose fair offers. Pricing guidance is informational only. Pricing guidance is not guaranteed pay. Pricing guidance is not hourly pay. Pricing guidance is not a maximum price. Pricing guidance does not create a minimum time commitment. The posted offer is the amount the runner receives for tasks created under the current pricing model. RunXIt service fees and payment processing fees are added on top of the runner offer and are shown before payment. No paid runner task may be requested for less than $10. Runners may mark a task complete when the requested work is finished.
To protect the integrity and safety of the platform, RunXIt reserves the right to take administrative action including:
RunXIt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. RunXIt does not guarantee that any errand will be completed, that any runner will accept an errand, or that any payment will be processed successfully.
RunXIt is not responsible for the conduct of any user on the platform, including runners, requesters, or third parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunXIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
Light Retail Maintenance helps local businesses request one-time, non-specialized cleaning and organizing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping counters, breaking down cardboard, restocking displays, and light organizing. Light Retail Maintenance errands are for one-time, non-specialized tasks only.
RunXIt does not provide any of the following through Light Retail Maintenance:
Requesters must not post Light Retail Maintenance tasks involving any of the following:
Requesters are responsible for providing safe, lawful access to the work area, including any necessary permissions, keys, access codes, or entry arrangements. Requesters must ensure the work environment is safe and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
Runners may decline or report any Light Retail Maintenance task they believe is unsafe, out of scope, or inconsistent with these Terms. Declining a task will not, by itself, constitute failure to complete an errand.
RunXIt's Wait In Line service is limited to connecting requesters with runners who agree to wait in line and provide progress updates. The service being purchased is the runner's time and presence in line, not any item, ticket, merchandise, shoes, food, reservation, entry, or other benefit available at the front of the line.
Runners are not required or expected to purchase anything on behalf of requesters. RunXIt does not operate as a resale, ticketing, proxy-purchasing, or item-guarantee service. Any purchase made by a runner after reaching the front of the line is made solely in that runner's personal capacity and is outside the scope of the RunXIt platform.
Requesters are responsible for arriving at the venue in time to take their place in line or complete any purchase or transaction themselves. Runners are expected to provide reasonable progress updates through the app, including notice when they believe the requester should begin traveling to the venue. RunXIt recommends approximately 30 minutes' advance notice when feasible, but actual timing may vary based on venue conditions, crowd movement, security, weather, and other factors outside the runner's or RunXIt's control.
RunXIt cannot guarantee that a venue, store, event, security team, or organizer will permit line switching, place-holding, entry, purchase eligibility, or continued access. Venue rules always control. If a runner reaches the front of the line after providing reasonable progress updates and the requester is not present or is unable to take over due to venue rules or delay, the waiting service may be considered completed and the runner may be eligible for payment.
Venue, organizer, merchant, and security policies always take precedence over any instructions provided through RunXIt. Runners must never violate venue rules, security instructions, or applicable law in order to complete a Wait In Line errand. If venue personnel prohibit line switching, place holding, entry, purchases, or any related activity, runners must comply with those instructions. Compliance with venue rules will not, by itself, constitute failure to complete the waiting service.
Requesters may not require runners to purchase items, meet at a separate location to transfer goods, front money, accept off-platform reimbursement, or perform any activity that violates venue rules, law, or RunXIt policy.
